Product Description

Yuanben High Accuracy Turbine Flow Sensor Hall Effect
The turbine flow sensor is designed to measure the flow of water, gasoline, kerosene, and other light transmitting, non-corrosive liquids of similar viscosity. specifically for small diameter applications, the turbine flow sensor provides accurate, repeatable readings in flow ranges 0.5 to 2 lpm. The higher viscosity of diesel fuel reduces signal repeatability at flow rates below 0.03 GPm. Pressure drops are very low compared to other turbine flow sensors and the bearing system is rated for continuous operation at the upper end of the flow range. The sensors produce a current pulse signal from a Hall-effect sensor.

Operating Principle
When liquid enters the flow path, and liquid flow have a force to  turbine rotate, the rotational velocity of the turbine is directly proportional to flow rate. The sensor features a vane-axial turbine design with inbedded permanent magnets and Hall effect sensor. This allows clear liquids to be metered. The turbine bodies are available in PVDF thermoplastic, brass or stainless steel. Signal outputs available are frequency ( pulse signal).

Features
  1. The injection-molded PVDF body and ceramic bearings provide excellent chemical compatibility and long service in dosing and batching applications.
  2. The unit's compact size makes it an ideal candidate for jobs in which space is at a premium.
  3. The primary feature of turbine flow sensor is high precision at affordable pricing and provides very high reliability. Add excellent corrosion resistance through exclusive use of PVDF and ceramic wetted parts.
  4. The sensor makes accurate flow measurement of transparent liquid media possible over a wide range of flow rates.
  5. Union piping and tubing connections along with removable standard sensor unit allow for easy assembly and field replaceability.
  6. Connection to rigid pipe or tubing unaffected by mounting angles
  7. In addition to the flow signal, an optional Pt-100 RTD output is available to provide temperature as well as flow measurement.
