Overview:
The ECDS-3001 series eddy current sensor integrates signal processor and probe into one high-performance eddy current displacement sensor. The head of the probe is made of polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) engineering plastic injection molding, which is resistant to high and low temperature , various chemical corrosion. The probe housing is made of SUS304 stainless steel, and the circuit board is encapsulated by epoxy resin, which can be moisture-proof, dust-proof and anti-corrosion, and the protection grade reaches IP67. With a variety of signal output for choice, in power, petrochemical, metallurgy, machinery and other industries have been widely used.
Application:
ECDS - 3001 eddy current displacement sensor is widely used in every field, general industrial equipment especially in high speed rotating machinery (such as: large compressor unit, steam turbine, turbine units, fan, motor, pump and other equipment) is widely used, used to measure the axial displacement, radial vibration, place degrees, the shaft speed.
For metal plate thickness measurement, material damage detection, material deformation measurement, and other special applications can be customized.

Installation instructions
1. Requirements of the tested body: the material of the tested body has an impact on the characteristics of the sensor. (45# steel will be used as the material to be tested during the factory inspection)
2. When the measured body is a circular axis and its axis line is orthogonal to the probe axis line, the diameter of the measured body is required to be more than 3 times the diameter of the probe, otherwise the sensitivity of the sensor will be reduced.
3. The thickness of the measured body affects the sensitivity of the sensor. Metal materials with good magnetic conductivity, such as steel, require a thickness greater than 0.1mm, and metal materials with good magnetic conductivity, such as aluminum, require a thickness greater than 0.6mm.
4. The measured surface should be smooth and clean, without holes and nicks, etc. For speed and phase detection, a boss or groove can be installed on the measured surface. For displacement measurement, the roughness of the measured surface is generally required to be no more than 0.8 ~ 1.6um, and for shaft vibration measurement, the roughness of the measured surface is generally required to be no more than 0.4 ~ 0.8um.
5. The monitored body material is 45# steel. Other materials can be customized, (or ecDS-1020 series field correction, probe separated from signal processor).
Note:
When ordering, the user must note the material, shape and size of the measured body. If the user does not agree in the contract, 45# steel will be used as the material of the tested body during factory calibration, and the plane diameter of the tested body shall be calibrated with a size greater than 3 times the diameter of the probe.
